...to fill my beautiful room. These pictures are pretty much it. I have a birthday poster that I want to hang up once I know everyone's date of birth. I also saved a spot for all of the rules that we are going to talk about the first day.

Today felt really good. I was looking through a bunch of curriculum stuff and I knew what to do. I sticky noted pages that I want to use, made the D.O.L. work for the whole first week, tentatively planned the first THREE weeks of science, made the first week's overheads for math, taught a new teacher how to use the copy machine and other generally awesome things that say "I am ready for school to start!"
I don't know about that, but I feel ready. I've made good use of my time so far and I still have three more days left. Whenever anyone asks me if I am going to be ready on Monday my answer is YES! I can't wait. Especially now that I have a list of names that I can't wait to meet the faces they go with.
Oh, and in an exciting twist, the Rodel student teacher across the hall from me is a friend of mine from class. I love seeing friendly faces everywhere i go!
