After 9 hours in the car, we finally made it safely back to Phoenix. Chrysanthemum appeared extremely relieved to be back on her own turf. She sniffed every room in the house and gave her favorite chair a good sniff and a roll.
On a side note - while we were gone, we missed the most extreme non heat related weather Arizona has seen in a long time.
